In Bielsko-Biala, and all other manufacturing facilities, GE is leveraging modern, digital tools to ensure product quality, reduce cycle time and make the journey from the shop floor to its customers’ doorstep seamless and more efficient.
The Bielsko-Biala facility features a dedicated customer experience center, where customers can interact with GE’s latest products and share real-time feedback throughout the development process. In the interactive product showroom, customers can explore customized solutions according to a specific application, including a variety of commercial to industrial environments. Not only are the products available to view in person but customers can also see products in a virtual environment using a Solutions Explorer screen that spans a wall of the Customer Experience Center. Additionally, all equipment in the product showroom is connected through GE’s Envisage software so customers can demo this solution in real-time.
The customer experience center also includes a training center for customers and employees. Within the new training center, labs and showroom – customers engage in two-way dialogue with GE’s engineering and product management teams during product development, benefiting both GE and its customers.
