General Purpose
A reliable, energy-efficient design for general purpose lighting and electrical applications. Available in single-phase from 15-250kVA and three-phase from 15-1000kVA. Aluminum and copper wound.
K-Factor
K Factor rated for nonlinear loads. These type QL transformers have passed the UL K-factor testing program. GE offers K=4, K=13, K=20 and K=30 transformers.
Low Noise
These low noise transformers operate at reduced noise levels. The vibrations within the magnetic steel core have been greatly reduced, thus lowering the humming of the transformer to 3dB to 5dB less than NEMA/ANSI standards.
Guard I & II Noise Isolation Transformer
• Guard I transformers provide common mode noise attenuation and transverse mode noise attenuation.
• Guard II adds an enhanced level of transverse mode noise attenuation for increased protection of sensitive electronic equipment.
Guard III Harmonic Mitigating
Guard III harmonic mitigating transformers help eliminate harmonic currents and minimize power quality problems.
Servicenter Integral Transformer and Distribution Panel
Single-phase 5-25kVA, Three-phase 15-30kVA. GE’s Servicenter mini-unit substation brings together three quality GE products in one convenient, compact solution: transformer, distribution panel and circuit breakers.
Drive Isolation
A Drive Isolation Transformer (DIT) is designed to specifically handle the mechanical stresses, voltage distortions and harmonics associated with SCR applications.

Dry Type Non-Ventilated

Totally Enclosed, Non-Ventilated (TENV)
15-75kVA, Three-Phase. Totally enclosed non-ventilated transformers are an excellent choice for applications where dry-type transformer benefits are desired but the standard enclosure openings are unacceptable due to adverse atmospheric conditions.

Dry Type, Encapsulated, Enclosed

Single-Phase: .050kVA–3kVA and 5kVA-15kVA
The GE QB and QMS transformers feature encapsulated core and coils in a NEMA 3R nonventilated weatherproof enclosure.
Three-Phase: 3-15kVA
The GE QMS3 transformer features encapsulated core and coils in a NEMA 3R nonventilated weatherproof enclosure.
Buck Boost
Convenient and least expensive method of matching line voltage with equipment voltage. Primary voltages include 120V, 240V and 480V. Secondary voltages include 12V, 16V, 24V, 32V, 48V.

Dry Type, Encapsulated Core & Coil

Machine Tool
Machine Tool Core & Coil Transformers (Type IP). Terminal Board Connections. 0.05-3.0kVA, Single-Phase. Used to provide voltage to control devices in applications where regulation and minimum space are important.
Control Power
Type IP Core & Coil Transformers. Leads Out. These GE transformers are welded core and encapsulated to provide the highest quality electrical performance. Rated at 55°C rise with 40°C ambient.
