The Ultravar™ Low Voltage AccuVar Plus and AccuVar Jr. multi-step power factor control equipment automatically maintains the desired power factor level, adjusting to the system load requirements in selected kVAR steps. The solid-state controller responds to a current signal from the optional current transformer and to a voltage signal from a potential transformer included in the equipment.
