GE Global Services sells a full spectrum of batteries, in both the sealed cell and flooded cell varieties. In addition, prepares quotes for battery systems that meet IEEE specifications.
GE Global Services provides comprehensive solutions for battery system parts, installation, disposal and maintenance. The Customer can communicate any needs, the loads to be protected, for how long, and any special considerations (space, etc.) and GE will then prepare a quotation for the appropriate solution.
Battery Chargers
Battery chargers are designed to continually keep batteries at the optimum voltage level. Global Services sells a variety of chargers to meet our customers' needs. Chargers can be localized to a single cell or provide for the entire battery string.
Battery Racks and Cabinets
Battery racks and cabinets are efficient ways to house strings of batteries that support critical power equipment. Global Services works with customers to identify the best storage solution available to meet their space limitations.
Battery Spill Containment Products
The National Fire Protection Act of 1998 requires that spill containment be a part of all new battery installations. Global Services sells spill containment products that can be installed as part of an original installation, as well as products that can be used with existing installations. All products are in compliance with fire and building codes and OSHA, DOT, and ANSI/IEEE standards.
Battery Monitoring Systems
Battery monitoring systems eliminate the large amounts of labor involved in testing and maintaining rechargeable standby batteries. Global Services offers a comprehensive line of battery monitoring systems from passive systems that monitor a variety of battery parameters, to active systems that interact with each cell in the battery strings. Battery monitoring systems improve the safety of battery installations by minimizing the potential of a battery accident, and by reducing the opportunity for personnel accidents.
