Easy Installation
Both the DD477AMCZ (16 M 86 °) and DD479AMCZ (20 M 60 °) are quick and easy to install when used in conjunction with the ATS panel range, since all the required resistors are built in, enabling a one zone solution with a simple three wire connection. In addition, these resistors are easily removable if a conventional connection is required.
Unique Patented Anti-Masking Feature
GE Security's innovative use of Active Infrared (AIR) and light guides enables the AIR to fully protect both the PIR and Microwave technologies, ensuring that not only are the most sophisticated masking attempts automatically reported to the control panel, but also that the detector is operating correctly.
Both the DD477AMCZ and DD497AMCZ's operation and reporting are easily field programmable making them flexible enough to meet the requirements of any application. Additionally, both detectors perform regular self-tests of the PIR and Anti-Masking functions, reporting any discrepancy automatically to the control panel.
