While access control is valuable for monitoring
who enters a building or campus through conventional entry points
during school hours, an alarm system is necessary to thwart after-hours
invaders like vandals and thieves.
When selecting an alarm system, be sure to consider
both perimeter and interior detection. A perimeter detection system
can deter unwanted individuals from entering the building, and an
interior detection system will track those who do manage to enter.
Many different types of detection devices are available, so be sure
to choose equipment that integrates into one manageable system that
fits the unique needs of your building or campus.

New wireless technology
lets you mount motion detectors where they will do the most
good. Placement is not dependent on existing wiring, so you
can choose the best position and angle for each sensor.
Did you know...
Buildings without alarm systems are 4.5 times more likely
to be broken into than those with alarm systems.
