How
do I get SupraNET?
Your organization will receive a schedule notification approximately
5 weeks prior to your scheduled SupraNET upgrade. The notification
will include basic information about the upgrade process and information
on the next step. Two weeks after this notification, you will receive
a packet of upgrade materials and a member of the SupraNET upgrade
team will contact you to review the materials and begin the upgrade
process.
The upgrade process is very simple and requires a minimal amount
of staff time. The entire process, including training and equipment
setup generally will take less than 3 hours of your staff's time
over the 3-week upgrade period. The primary tasks will include:
- Transferring ownership of the KIM Client computer(s) to your
organization
- Reviewing the standardized Keyholder Agreement that will take
effect when you begin using SupraNET. The agreement includes a
simplified format that is easier for Keyholder to understand,
monthly pro-ration for Display KEY fees, and standardized replacement
costs for Keys and cradles.
- Installation and verification of the programming base and Transaction
Machine. The Transaction Machine is a new piece of equipment that
includes a credit card/check reader and digital signature pad
that will be utilized with the new Point-of-Sale functionality.
- Completion of an inventory audit.
- Live, on-line SupraNET training for organization staff. Classes
are held 2 to 3 times per day on a rotating schedule and generally
last between 1 and 1 1/2 hours. Your staff will be provided a
link to our training schedule and may register for any class that
best meets their schedule.
