When communicating with a UR relay, Viewpoint Engineer will provide real-time feedback of the status of all inputs, logic gates, timers, latches and outputs for the logic in your relay. Troubleshooting problems with logic and substation wiring is now simplified by allowing you to identify what inputs and logic gates are causing the logic to not execute as you expected.

When connected to the network, Viewpoint Engineer will automatically read all communication settings from all UR relays, and generate a graphical system diagram displaying the configured Remote I/O network.
Once generated, this diagram will provide real-time feedback on the status of all remote I/O messages being sent, and ensure that they are being received and interpreted correctly by the correct devices.
The connectivity report provides a detailed report of all peer-to-peer mappings between the settings files associated with a project. This will include all IEC61850 GSSE/GOOSE and UCA2 GOOSE messaging, as well as any direct I/O configured between the UR relays. Viewpoint Engineer will generate a PDF document of the report for easy archiving and e-mailing.
