GE Strengthens Canadian Channel Partner Operations to Better Support its Distributors
"We see tremendous opportunities to support the growth of Canada's infrastructure," said Gary Arnott, general manager, North America sales for GE Energy Management's Industrial Solutions business. "We have a dedicated sales organization of 60 experienced professionals serving Canadian customers. Ajay will bring strong leadership to the team and help us focus our efforts on growing our channel partners' presence within the Canadian market."
As commercial director for the Canadian channels, Gupta will provide dedicated leadership to deliver and execute GE Energy Management's new channel partner strategy capitalizing on the overall market strength of GE's channel partner network.
"Our channel partners along with commercial markets are a vital part of our Canadian business," said Gupta. "Our goal is to create a highly effective channel management infrastructure within the Canadian market. We support our channel partners with great people and resources to provide advanced technologies and sophisticated tools that will enable growth, for both GE and our distribution partners."
Gupta brings more than 15 years of GE experience to his new position. Most recently, Gupta was the technical channel director for Canada and North U.S. at the GE Energy Global Center of Excellence. He is a graduate of Columbia Southern University (CSU) with a bachelor of science in computer technology. Gupta also holds an industrial electronics degree in engineering and is an MBA graduate from CSU. He will be located in Toronto.
